MENDIP MINI FESTIVALS
2026 Family-Friendly Festival Weekends
This summer, Mendip Basecamp introduces brand-new Mendip Mini Fests - relaxed, family-friendly festival weekends included for all campers at no extra charge. Taking place throughout the summer holidays, these mini festivals are set within Mendip Basecamp, an award-winning family adventure campsite in the Mendip Hills.
Following the success of last year's 'Mendip Family Festival,' we've taken one festival and made it into six!
All six weekends can be booked directly at Mendip Basecamp's camping website. Everything is included in the price of your camping.

Friday 24th July to Sunday 26th July
Friday: Storytelling 6pm - 7pm
Live music from 7pm with local singer-song writer Daisy Chapman
Saturday: Outdoor workshop 9am - 11pm
Face painting from 5pm
Local talent competition winner from 5.30pm
Headline live band from 7pm with local legends Supervision. A Rock`n`Soul night for fans of Stevie Wonder, Queen and Journey.
Sunday: Yoga 9am - 10am
Circus skills workshop 10am - 12pm
Friday 31st July to Sunday 1st August
Friday: Storytelling 6pm - 7pm
Live music from 7pm with Sam Evans, uplifting soul, folk singer
Saturday: Outdoor workshop 9am - 11pm
Face painting from 5pm
Local talent competition winner from 5.30pm
Headline live band from 7pm with Aardvarks, high-energy world-folk fusion

Headline live band from 7pm with The Sam Evans Band, a band blending soul, reggae, folk and pop into powerful live performances fresh off winning the Glastonbury talent competition.

Our mini festivals are really affordable. All Mendip Mini Fests are relaxed, family-friendly festival weekends included for all campers at no extra charge.
Adults: £18 per night
Children (4-15): £10 per night
Infants (0-3): FREE
Rental Tents (sleep up to 6): From £90 per night
Food & Drink
Welcome the morning with a latte and bacon roll, pick up a panini, or lounge about with a box of fries and a cold drink - located in the big white tent in the middle of Basecamp, the Pavilion is open from 8 AM to 9 PM daily and has everything you need for a camping trip, from freshly cooked meals and cold beverages to holiday essentials - and barista coffee roasted right here in the Mendip Hills!
Adventure Festival
Choose your adventure! There are over 20 bookable outdoor activities available with the onsite Mendip Activity Centre from Rock Climbing to Kayaking, Archery to Caving.
